Finally I have a copy of New Moon! I loved the books and I love these films!!!

(I know I ma just a big kid!! lol hehe)

Look at this!! I saw one of these blankets on True blood this week and thought to my self I have to get one of those and what did I find in a charity shop this morning?????

Even better is the colours in this blanket! It couldnt be more perfect and for £1.99 I was rather pleased!!! :)

I said I would show some more of my life drawings and here they are....

I really struggled with drawing the male form and am not too happy with them but they are a learning curve!

These last 2 were done last friday and I was pleased with them. I do realise however that I have made the model look like a witch but hey I really like drawing people in blues - like Avatars!!

Oh and I have done a little bit of scrapping too!!

Hello, Im back armed with some pics of the Journal I did on Dina Wakelys online course. I have posted a few pics of it before and explained that I have been using it in Life Drawing classes which I do on a friday.

Life drawing makes me feel so happy. I get completly lost whilst Im there. I have found a medium which I love working with - Water soluable wax pastels and Canvas in book form. Like I said before my drawings arnt great but I am not so worried about that at the moment and am getting better each time I go.

I have been working on some portraits that I have done too- I will post these once I take a few pics:)

You may notice that I stopped drawing faces on the drawings but I am working n that :)

Inspired retreat

I'm back and I had a great time. I took my Bellaboo shop to the retreat and shared the shop with Karen and Anni from Scrapshed- we shared our hotel room too and had a blast. These ladies are fab and hilarious! Anni is a fellow Twilight fan - I thought I was bad lol!!!

Michelle( the organiser) had amazing teachers come and teach - Dina Wakely, Lance anderson, Karen burniston, Emma Trout and Lida de Witte. They were so inspirational!

We were lucky that the shop had a door that opens out to the class room which was great as we could do the classes from the shop - Yeahhhh :) I did 4 in total!

I had some bits with me like the key and fabric - I am so pleased with it!

Now to find a home for it!

I will take more pics of the projects tommorrow and post soon :)

Last nights episode of Being Human was FABBBBBBB I thought personally it was the best episode yet! (and no not just because I was in it lol!!)

James couldnt stop himself at laughing at me!! - Ok I am no actress but it was such fun! For most of the day we were sat in a classroom listening to Georges screams!! It was such fun!! You can just about see my sons in the parents evening too!! (Oh I am the one with dark hair sitting at a desk with a black and pink dress on!!)

I am really looking forward to tonights episode on Being Human!!! Myself and 2 of my boys spent a whole saturday filming with them so I really hope we get more than a 1/2 second showing!!!
Cal is excited too as he keeps saying he's going to be eaten!!! lol - so watch out for us tonight at 9pm on BBC3!!

A few weeks ago I found a book called Artist trading card workshop and it inspired me sooo much I just had to buy it! Once at home thought I just had to try out some of the techniques in the book. My friend Jayne came over and we had such fun getting messy making these ATC!

The butterfly one is my favourite.

However it was so funny cutting these faces from the TV guide- can you recognise who they are? There is a clue in the name! - Samot!! lol!!

I would thouroughly recomend this book to anyone who is thinking about making ATC s or is looking for new techniques to play with!

Yesterday myself and the boys went to Slimbridge wetlands centre with Windmill hill city farm! We were soaked with rain and sleet before we even got to the farm but once we were on the coach we all warmed up and dried off - but it snowed all the way there and whilst we were there!!! It was COLD!! To be fair though once we were there and the boys were running about it was fine. It was a farm photography trip so the aim was for all the families to take photos. Unfortunately all the batteries in our cameras died quickly but we did get some shots. I have been playing on Picnik this morning editing a few (as I no longer have any editing software :( - I miss my photoshop!!!)

The photos are not that great but hey I never claimed to be a photographer!!

Right I am being summoned to the Wii!! to play on the olympics!! lol

A bit of this.... a bit of that......

Recently I have been doing a bit of this and a bit of that but went to a life drawing class the other day which has set off something in me ! I spent my time there collaging and playing with drawing mediums - I cant wait to go back. I did an online class with Dina wakely last year and made a fab book I have started to use this as a life drawing journal - I have decided even the mistakes are good as I now know not to try them again!!

I feel I am changing at the moment and am feeling very experimental with my art supplies. It feels so good!

I am not worried about getting things right but am enjoying the process. I have never been very good at making things look lik they are meant to but its something I enjoy doing. I tried using charcoal and found that it does nothing for me hence why I did purple people!! lol Colour works so much better for me! I can't wait to go back!

This page isnt finished but am trying out techniques on my drawing - this feels such a positive thing for me at the moment and feel so much happier for it!

Heres another layout using the Monster mash kit I have had this photo for years so its reallly nice to finally use it after about 3 years. Evan looks so young in this pic!

Every monday since Evan started school I have been going to a morning crop which has been great- I have been managing to do at least a whole layout at each one - thats sooo good for me!!

And a sneak peek for a technique mini book class I am teaching in november- its gonna be full of prima goodness!!

I went to a garden centre yester and they had a fab display outside - I had to take a pic- arnt they gorgeous!

I have been naught and ordered myself a POGO !! I am so excited - I cant wait for it to arrive - 3x2 instant photos - wicked!

I am going out with my nan tommorrow to the Jane Austen centre - I have been wanting to go there for ages! - I cant wait!- oHh Mr Darcy here I come....

Yesterday I spent the day filming at my kids school for the BBC program 'Being Human'. The school was chosen as a location and children and parents were asked as 'Extras' Of course being me I couldnt resist my chance plus I rather hoped that the Vampire guy May be there!

Anyhows we say around in the playground or about an hour whilst they got started! Itwas a bit cold but thought I dont care this is gonna be fun! Myself and 6 other parents turned up (I was surprised it wasnt more!) Luckily I knew all but 2 of them well so we had a right laugh!

We were called up to the crew and actors which was weird, and were told what we needed to do and where to stand. and it went on allllllll day!

We were given an hour for lunch so I went round to my mate Trish's house (who too had been there all morning) we warmed up with a coffee and watch the rain start and thought ohhh no! but when we started to go back it eased off to a light drizzle.

When we got back everyone was kinda hanging around so I thought I would take my chance to get a pic with one of the actors! now I started asking then Trish tanslated my garbled speak to him! he said yes and asked my name, I said Cleo and he introduced himself as Russell I went to shake his hand and my umbrella almost flew towards him! That was it I was all embarassed and bumbling away tring to get my camera out of my bag - and it didnt want to come out! by this point my friends are laughing at me ! but I got my photo! He was so nice he even picked up my umbrella for me ! I am sooo embarassed!!!!! one of the parents said I looked really star struck which wasnt it -I just got embarassed! ohhh well I did my bit now I have got to hope I make it into the scene!! hehe

I watched the first series and loved it and it was great to see how things are filmed. Everyone was so friendly bringing out umbrellas to us when the rain started and just being so nice! I cant wait til next feb to see it now - whether i am in the shot or not!! I had a really good day! even if I didnt get to meet the vampire charector! (actually that was probably a good thing - I would probably fallen in the mud or something!!)

A change - Oh yeah you might notice that in that photo that my hair is dark! - A couple of weeks back I decided to dye it purple - a nice dark purple and well it went bright purple with lilac streaks - hmmm nice I hear you say .... no no no! I dyed it dark fairly quickly and LOOOOVEE it!. My hair has never been this dark but I really do like it! Its great as you wont see the roots so soon!

Anyway I really need to blog more often - but that the problem with 2 blogs it seems too much and so I dont at all!! lol

Other things going on since my last blog post - August - oooopps!!

My youngest so started full time school - its so odd doing stuff at home without children! I have been going to a morning crop on a monday too which has been lovely.

I have been busy with Bellaboo too! Ohhh we have lots and lots of gorrrggeeous goodies in store- New cosmo, Sassafrass, MME Jenni Bowin, new inks and loads more - come and have lookie sometime! you can find us here

Its been a while since I shared some of my layouts with you - and it is about time too!! lol

My house is very quiet atm as my boys have all gone to Durham with their grandparents so I have lots of time to catch up on the things I have been meaning to do lol!

We have sorted both Cal's room and Aeron and Evan's room. As much as I am getting lots of things done I didn't realise just how much I would miss them!

Hopefully I willbe going to see the Banksy exhibition tommorrow and then maybe watch some of the Hot air balloons from the garden! (we are very lucky to live under the flight path of the Balloon fiesta ) which is this weekend! fingers crossed I get some good pics :)

My sister Turned 21 last friday (Happy Birthday Roxanne!!!) and instead of having a traditional 21st birthday party she decided to have a 21st fancy dress picnic in Singleton park in Swansea!! Ok I though this may turn out to be funny but I had no idea just how funny!

You can only imagine the looks we had but it was sooo much fun, so much so that I am thinking of holding something myself at some point!! Hehe

In other news ........ We lost our pet hamster Sandy last week- we were all a little sad as she had been a lovely pet to Calann. He kept saying his room was empty without her so he has now got 2 pet Rats- Norman and Derek. They are only 5 weeks old and we cant really handle them at the moment but am hoping they will calm down a little.
Nigel (the Kitten) is now making those wonderful noises that his mum used to make when she was a kitten. He sounds like one of the little dinosaurs in Jurrasic park!!!
I have the Bellaboo July kit all sorted and ready for release on the 1st July- This months kit has the Yummy Fancy pants Delight range.
This was the layout I taught at the Bellaboo crop this month using these gorgeous Girl Friday papers.

Oh I went quiet didn't I - Sorry about that !! lol
So what have I been up to ????? Ummmmmmm..... making kits , teaching writing newsletters, looking after kittens ummm and loads more that I can fit into my head right now- Oh but Twilight!-

I watched Twilight and LOOOOVVVVEEEEDD it but people kept telling me that the book was better so I bought it. Since having children I have been unable to read a book - I can read articles, magazine etc.. but my contraction just wasn't letting me. Until Twilight -OMG have I loved this book and the next one 'New moon' I have just started the 3rd too!! I love these stories!!, Vampires werewolves etc- and romance - what more could I ask for?? Anyone who knows my taste in films tv etc knows that I am a sucker for Horror, Sci fi, and Romance so these worked soooo well for me!! I am actually really excited about them (as if you couldn't tell!! lol)I have actually surprised myself at how 'into these books ' I have got into these books I even got up early (6 am ) to read on yesterday! I just cant wait for the time I find to read! I haven't been like this for such a long time!!
Anyhow....... I taught a class on Sat- a 3D Tree and a layout I have a couple of the class kits left here -if anyone fancies one they are on sale here

I know Ive not been on here for a while! But hey ho! I have 2 sneak peeks for you.
The first is for the Bellaboo crop in Olveston on sat 16th May! We will be using yummy My Minds Eye papers!

The class will be a layout. The main photo is a circle, mine is approx 3 1/2 inch circle which was cropped from a larger photo. I have also used lots of mini photos which I printed as a photo montage on my computer. All the photos are from a weekend away, so show lots of the little things to remember.
The papers we will be using are the My minds eye Blooom and Grow range- So
lovely summery colours!!

So tools and requirements....

A photo that can be cropped into a circle shape

Lots of mini photos of different sizes

Usual scrapping kit...

Glue runner

pencil,

scissors,

paper trimmer,

Pink ink, yellow ink, blue ink (i will bring mine to borrow if you dont have have the colours)

And a needle with a hole big enough for embroidery thread!

I had a great day yesterday at Paper Arts, I taught 2 classes- a mini book and a layout.
It was great to see some old faces aswell as some new ones I have never met- one being one of my facebook friends! Fiona made some of her fab cakes - yum!! I missed out on one type but the choccie ones were lush!!!

My kittens are doing well, 2 started opening their eyes yesterday and today their eyes are OPEN! It looks odd though!! I am not sure they can see yet as they are not looking about, but still using their sence of smell. Little Nigel still hasnt opened his at all yet, but sure he will soon. I will take some extra pics of them today once my batteries have charged (they were pinched for the wii). They are also moving around lots at the moment, they are climbing over eachother, I am going to try and take a movie of them!

I have finally sorted a Bellaboo crop in Olveston, South Gloucestershire, which is quite close to Bristol too!! If you fancy it there are more details here

Kittens

Yes we have kittens, Buffy gave birth on sunday morning to 4 Cute kittens. Sadly one died. The 3 left seem very strong and mother and babies are doing well :). Myself, James and the boys are soo excited about them, I can stop watching them!!
The boys have named the Deejo, Cindy and Nigel! 2 boys and 1 girl! They are ssoooo beautiful!!

Anyway..... Back to scrapping - I have just announced a Design Team call over on the Bellaboo blog so if you fancy being part of the Bellaboo Design team please apply :)

All the yummy Basic Grey Lime Rickey range came in yesterday and its even nicer than I was expecing!! I just need a bit of time to sit down and have a play with it now!!

Photos at paperarts

A few of you have been asking about the photos for the paperarts classes, I thought if I showed you the sepia photo I used for the layout it may help. This is the main one used for the layout and then these 3 are cropped from the original but printed about the size of a passport photo.

The mini book is a little easier as I have just used some colour photographs. It is fairly feminine though, mine is about my sister. It would be great as a book about a woman / women in your family. Alternitively it could be used for a event like a wedding!

I hope this helps! Just remember you can always add your photos later!

I have been putting together the Bellaboo may kit - I will show you some sneeks soon, am also thinking up my next Undometicated kit- the ideas are swirling around my head!! - More about that soon!!

I will be teaching at the Bromsgrove crop on June 6 and will be using these gorgeous Matriochkas papers!! More info on that soon !! If you cant make the crop but would like to get hold of these papers they are available here

Any hows in other news we will be hearing the pitter patter of tiny furry feet soon as My little Buffy is pregnant and getting ready to give birth to some cute kittens!! Myself and the boys are very excited about this!! Also on the wildlife front we found a puddle full of Tadpoles in the garden that we transfered into a tank, there are loads and we love checking on them! Isnt nature fab!!!

I have been watching Movies lately - Twilight- OMG I LOVED this film!!! I know some didnt like it, but I just loved the romance!!

We also saw 'Knowing' at the cinema. I do love apocalyptic films and was shocked at the ending! It was a great movie though.

The boys have now settled down after a day at the farm and the park, they are watching Igor so now I have a choice- Do I tidy the house, or watch it with them - oh decisions, decisions...... lol.

For those of you that havent heard - I will SOON be the new proud owner of..................

I am so excited!!
Bellaboo is so pink and pretty, and I hope I can keep that feel!
I have been ordering in lots of new stock including new, Cosmo Cricket, Sassafras, Crate, Fancy Pants, American Crafts!! and the list could go on................
I will let you all know when the big opening day is!
I cant wait!!

Back to life though-: I spent Friday evening in the cotswolds with some fab scrappy friends. The girls had hired a quirky cottage, which was just fab in every way- even the spooky bedroom !!! The fire place in the dining room had loads of random coins and bits blue tacked to it including a big black plastic spider!! Which almost scared one of the girls out of her wits!! But it wasn't real, so panic over and the laughs started! In the 24 hours I was there I wasn't hungry for a single moment, the girls had stock the cupboard well and truly!! - Yuummmmmmm :)!

With all the quirky bits in the house I really should have been taking loads of photos but I forgot my camera DOH!! But I just had to borrow Jayne's to photograph 'The ORB'. It was just hanging over the stairs but it caught my eye immediately, So I persuaded everyone to have a pic taken in the 'ORB'!Right my tea is about ready! gotta run !

I have been so busy lately(hence no posting) I had a great weekend away in the woods again with some very inspirational scrappers and I actually finished 3 layouts - that really isn't very good but I was working on 3 mini books too!!

Hmmm I think I have been on playing scrabble for too long!!

My husband James went to Adelaide last Friday so I have been entertaining my boys! I have introduced them to the Back to the future films- and they like them!! I love these films so its nice to share them!! My sister Roxanne came to stay for a couple of days. She is a self confessed sci- fi nerd!! hehe!! Whilst watching Heroes she continually shouted at the tv which made me laugh soooooo much!!

We went up to our local park where my boys enjoy climbing trees- next thing I knew she was up in a tree with them - lol I would have joined her but well I'm not that flexible!! he he! The boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Whilst she was here I introduced her to the film 'Amelie' it's such a fantastic movie! Its very inspiring to watch!

I just love how beautiful it is!

The kit is being worked on and I can tell you that the main project this month will be a 3D house mini book!!

Fun At stitches

Yesterday Jayne and myself went to the Nec to the stitches trade show!! We had such a laugh - like 2 little school girls- Jayne loved my fake Bristolian accent which had her in stitches!! lol I think everyone on the train was probably glad for us to get off so they could have some peace and quiet!!

We arrived just before midday so we had a quick coffee and slice of cake (I had lemon merangue pie) mmmmmmm and then set off around the show! We found some fantastic businesses some with the most fantastic ribbons and trims that you can find the 2 of us were constantly saying ohhhhh and arrrrrrrr lol People knew we were coming!!
I have ordered in some fab papers- new basic grey mmmmmmmmmm :) and lots of gorgeous embellishments.
Some of the fabrics and buttons there had me drooling and I cant wait to order them in :)
Everyone commented on the length of my business name - Cleo's Undomesticated scrapping kits which I will be shortening soon :) along with a new website and lots of fab new kits :)

These are a couple of layouts I designed for Bellaboo Feb kit. Liberty definitely knows how to put a scrummy-lishious kit together :)
I am working on a mini book at the moment and need to get it done today.

Ok so I have not been about much lately real life has a habbit of getting in my way lol I have a list as long as my arm of things to do and then it snows!! Oh I am sucha kid in the snow, Whilst throwing snowballs at a random stranger in the park (he was throwing them at me!) I slipped and ended up doing the splits- ouch!!!!! I am not someone who can do the splits and it hurt!! I am ok though! he he!
If any of you are local I will be teaching at paperarts on the 25th April Fiona makes some delish cakes as well as having a fabby shop:)

School victorian day

Aeron had to dress up to go to school yesterday as it was 'Victorian day' where they spent the day sampling vicorian school life- I thought it was such a fantastic idea. He really enjoyed it.

He did look very cute!

Here are a few sneeek peeks of my scrapbook apprentice work it was only using cardstock - no patterned paper- I can honestly say I found it a real challenge.I was looking at the new CHA releases for sassafrass lass papers and they look lush- Cant wait for them to be out.

we took the boys up to ashton court yesterday and Cal had a ful on strop because I made him wear wellies -Ohhhh bad mother!!! lol- but we did all get VERY muddy

Sometimes you just dont notice the time flying by you. Over the last few weeks I have had scrapbook Apprentice work to do, a birthday 2 birthday parties to organise and co-ordinate, my dads memorial party, a trip to swansea and 4 out of 5 of us being ill!!! And then you realise you havent even started your xmas shopping!!
Wheeeewww ok! But really I dont know where the time has gone!!
This layout was the class I taught at Modscraps crop last month- another on a LP - I cant help it I love using them!!
Anyhows I am waiting in for my kit stash which will hopefully be ready by the end of the week! I can let you know that its Dream street papers (the Simply Stated range) Am loving black and white papers at the moment- as soon as they arrive I will post a sneek for you :)

The stashaholics team did the team challenge over on uks a few weeks back here was my attempt - did anyone notice the 7inch LP?? The challenge was to use old stash and recycled things!
Felt birdies have been another thing I have been working on. I love sitting infront of the tele stitching these little guys these ones are for my grandparents tree

Well I have been busy - my scrapping stash had finally started no taken over my dining room!! One whole sideof the room was covered with boxes full of stash!! I promised James I would sort it, so persuaded him to take me up to Ikea for some new storage.

I spent all weekendsorting through my stash, and sorting my buttons (which have now all been sorted in to jarsby colour- they look sooooo pretty!! I knew I had alot but really I have alot of buttons!!! I find my space in the dining room works so much better now especially for scrapbooking!!

Talking of scrapbooking I have a few sneek peeks for you that I have been working on for the scrapbook apprentice!! I had to make 2 layouts and 2 cards and I really dont like making cards- its just not my thing!!

As promised here is a sneek peek of the class I will be teaching at Modscraps crop on the 22nd nov! Yo uwill need one 8x6 portrait photo or 2 smaller ones (landscape) and you can see the colours we will be using- these papers are lush!!! Ellie made a fab decission choosing these for the class. I really hope you like it. Will figure out what else you shoud bring with you.
Oh my boys are argueing!! back in school tommorrow though!!
We had a lovely day out on sat, we went down to St Fagans near Cardiff, it is really good the entrance was free so all we had to pay for was getting there and parking. The celtic village was my fave bit (even if I did come out smelling like a bonfire!!)

My only boy that would dress up was Calann, I turned the pics to sepia when I got home.
James took this really lovely one of my - do you like my hat?

These huts were great you could see and smeel the smoke a mile off- I coughed when I went in -lol I am a wimp!!
I cant wait to scrap some of these with my new stash!!!

Pumpkin fun

Today the 12 scrapbook apprentices were announced- I am one of them!!!

I love halloween- its one of my favourite times of year!! (It always helps that my b'day was the day before) We bought 4 pumpkins Well 1 pumpkin and 3 munchkins!! I helped the boys carve theirs but ran out of time to do mine as I went shopping.

I am very fortunate the family gave me money for my birthday which meant I could buy some dresses I have had my eye on (5 in total (but 3 totalled £9) I loooovvvvvveeee shopping for clothes!! James bought me the pride and predjudice (the 90s version!!) I love it!! he also bought me a hot knife!! which is a soldering iron with a craft knife blade to making cutting really easy!! (I am such a cheat!!)
This pic of Ev makes me laugh!! - You can just see him saying 'mum stop taking photos!!'The cheeky boy started to knock the munchkins on the grass- the grin!!!

Oh what a weekend!!

The weekend has to be the most inspiring experience I have ever had- wow what a talented group of girlies we had there, I did a total of 7 layouts which is a 1st for me (I am a slow scrapper!)
The atmosphere was amazing and so fun !!! the tables were just covered with scrapping and chocolate the whole weekend!!!! I cant wait to do it again!! Th ehostel reminded me of a cottage from a horror film as it was set in a forest and was beautiful but was scary having to go to the loo (in a seperate block ) in the dark!! I scrapped til gone 3 on the first night- I was so tired the next night I went to bed about 11, but we were all up by 9 scrapping again!!!!!!

I can only show you 4 of my layouts atm , but will show the others when I can!!

Anyone else think this is soooooooo bare for me ?? I was being inspired by soem of the girls and decided to go for the minimal look - there is WHITE SPACE -lots of white space!!
I really loved puckering up the fabric for this one of James- I have even used clip on earings on this one!!!!!!
SJ took a fab pic of me which I am now using as my profile pic!!!

Evan is really looking forward to spending the afternoon with my grandfather- he has planned to do jigsaws with him all afternoon!!!!
Cal is most excited about getting some free tickets to go to a Bristol city football match with his dad!!! James was pretty pleased too :)
I am going on a retreat in just over a week with 9 women from the lushalishious social group- should be fun!!!! :)

Yesterday and sneek peeks

Yesterday Jayne came to visit with her daughter Keira. We had great fun with the 2 of them playing with playdoh!! (and me and Jayne too!!!) But we didnt expect Evan to do this!! - Evan was playing with Keira upstairs with some beads (hama beads to iron!!) Evan walked down the stairs mumbleing something and the he showed me the bead that was stuck up his nose!! Poor little thing just wanted it out and kept poking his finger up his nose pushing the bead further!! So Jayne held his hands and I got some tweesers!! - It didnt work !! So we had to teach him to blow his nose. And after 3 hard blows the bead flew out shooting my leg which Evan thought was hilarious!!!! He was fine through the whole thing and actually thought it was funny!!! Well just a typical afternoon in my house !!! Jayne couldnt have realised what she was in for !!!

So the kit - I have been working on!!! Here are a couple of sneek peeks for you, as I said before the kit is a double project kit with 2 projects to work on !!!

Everyone at Sat's Artcards 12 hour crop!!!

Saturday was fab - Great company, venue, cakes and shop !!!

Unfortunately I was having one of those days where I couldn't remember my words!!!! Not good when your teaching!!! So I hope everyone understood me!! :D!! I taught 2 classes a cute and very pink mini book (I will show you a pic asap!!) and this layout.
The day went so quickly, but I really do have to mention the cakes - wow what cakes made by Pippa and Karen's mum (mmmmmmmmmmmmm, drool , mmmmmmmm) Chocolate Viennese fingers that melt in the mouth !!! wow!!!! Karen your mum is such a fantastic cook, and those Peanut butter bites (made by Pippa) were truly yummmmsious!!! Hmmmm I think I gain a stone in weight at that crop!!! But it would have been rude not to sample them (and I am so glad I did!!!!!)
I want to say a big thank you to Karen and everyone for having me there and putting up with my lack of words!! (and my constant rambling on!!)

I am working on the kits as we speak so as soon ass I have batteries for my camera (some little person has pinched them and put them in the wii remotes!!) I will take some sneak peeks.

A sort out

Today I had to sort out some of my stash - as the mountain has grown and over taken!!! Arrrgggghhh I spent around 4 hours just trying to sort my patterned paper and cardstock!!! Embellies will have to be done next time!!! I found so many ranges of paper that I haven't got around to using yet!! I realised that I haven't scrapped for myself for ages- and am unlikely too ATM- I have a long list of projects that I am really excited about!!! In october I will be going on a Lushalishous retreat with the lushalishous sg on uks!! I cant wait to meet all the girls!!!!
This Saturday I will be teaching at the Artcards 12 hour crop in Somerset, which I am really looking forward too- I will put a couple of extra sneaks on this week to show you :)
Ohhhhhh I finally got to watch the Sex and the City film last night- Fab fab fab!!! What more could a girl want- watching a chick flick, eating chocolate and scrapbooking!!!!

Classes at Bellabooo

I have to say that I had a fab time at the Bellaboo birthday bash. Liberty is so fun and friendly as are her sisters (how fun it must be to have the whole family scrapping). The day went so quickly- I left Bristol at 6.58 and had to go to Newport to change trains to get to Bromsgrove!! (seemed silly to me but hey that's what my tickets told me too do - and who am I to argue with tickets???) The second train was full of me - I mean FULL, all drinking beer at 8 am!!!! And prooowwwwwing to anyone female walking passed them , They were behaving - I just found it quite awkward being there!! I just put my MP3 player on to the Ting Tings and buried my head in Jane Austins Pride and Prejudice!!- I have wanted to read this book for years, and have now been promted by Lost in Austin - which I love !!!! Ahhhh Mr Darcy in the water - Swwwwwwooonnnnnn !!!
I taught 3 classes - a mini book , a canvas and a layout Everyone was so friendly and welcoming :) I love seeing peoples own versions of the classes!!
Anyhows I had to leave in rather a hury to catch my train back - so sorry if I rushed you all :)
But I can back just in time to watch the Merlin program with my boys!!! and then ordered our sat night curry - yummmmmm !!!

I have been working on my kit and I can say that its going ot be a double project kit with a mini book and a layout- keep watching :)

I was so excited last week to recieve my copy of the scrapbook magazine- which had my 1st paid commission!! There ias something really exciting about seeing your work in print!! I know Liberty from Bellaboo was just the same :)!!

And this one is a sneek of the inside of the mini book for the Bellaboo birthday Bash!!! woo hoo its so close now I cant wait!!! I am getting some mini photos printed today for this mini book (3x2 and possibly in b&w)
The boys will be going back to school on friday (silly day to go back on if you ask me!!) so hopefully I should be able ot get myself together to write up all the instructions for these projects- by the time the boys go to bed at the moment my brain is a bit like mash potato!!- not good for instruction writting!!
Also I am waiting for a delivery with my yummy stash for my september kit- I will let you all know when it is ready!!!

Starting tonight is that Lost in Austin program which I am sooooooooo excited about (I know its sad) but I loovvvveeeee Jayne Austin programs - so am hoping this will be good too - oh and who do you think you are - spoilt for choice tonight (I think maybe I am a walking tv guide)

I have to wait in this mornig for my new laptop- I have become thouroughly fed up of waiting for my 'TURN' on the pc- I have things to do on here you know- rather than just playing games- like talking to my friends :)!!!! Oh well thats what I tell my boys!!!

Travel mini book kit plus extras now available

I have just added a folded mini book kit (pic below) on my kit shop blog plus extrasLast week we went to stay with James parents in Durham - we had a good time , the boys love being spoilt by their grandparents!! They even went fishing and brought home a large trout for tea!! I was able to get on with my scrapping and even got to the cinema to see the latest Mummy film (all of which I have loved) . I was very good and only made 2 trips to the scrapbook shop!!! Still I got some gorgeous bits!! We also went to a castle which was fab and had loads of things for the boys to do. Including foam figures and swords for the kids to whack - I have never seen Cal so excited, he was like a warrior from 'Lord of the Rings'!! Wow the energy he had was amazing!!!
There was also a jousting maching which Aeron and Evan loved playing on!!!
Right I have to get on- we have tennis lessons soon- yes me playing tennis - DONT LAUGH!!! :D!!

Lulu you made me laugh :) Thats so me- I look at things and try and work it out!! I will do a kit for this mini book :)!!!!
I have become obsessed with Word challenge on face book and have beaten the score of my husband!!!!! (sad I know !!!) Jayne is now obsessed too!!! :D!!
I went to see Wall-e yesterday, what a lovely film and all 3 boys were very well behaved and sat there nicely without disturbing everyone!! Even my grandparents enjoyed it - although my grandmother did go over the moral of the story many times!!!
We are popping down to swansea this weekend to catch up with soem family and friends hopefully- I havent been down for ages!! My sister said she will babysit so myself and James can go see the new batman film!!!

Summer Holidays

Well I dont know about anyone else, but on the 3rd day of the summer holidays I already feel exhausted. I love my boys to bits but they are so full of life and energy its hard to keep up!!!
On the 9th of august I will be teaching a class to the Barn Crafters, Droitwich Crop.
I have been busily working on a mini book that folds out to make two 12x12 layouts, with a travel theme.
If you are taking this class here is some info on it.
This mini album folds out to make two 12x12 layouts. Mine is a travel journal, somewhere to put all my memories and memoriabelia from my trip to Rome last year. I would like you to gather together photos, maps and receipts (if any of you are like me you will have a bag full of leaflets and fliers too). If possible I would really like to to bring some maps of a place you have visited so we can pinpoint these in our mini books. I used free ones that were available to all tourists. I have even used boarding passes from the aeroplane in my album.

Photo Requirements
The space in this mini book makes using regular 6x4 photos difficult as there are many score lines.
I have used twelve 3x2 photos (but could easily fit more. landscape ones are best)
I have also used 20 ish index print photos
I have also used two 4x 5.5 ins photos (odd size I know think they were from snapfish) but you could use regular 4x6 and trim them down.

What you need to bring for this class
White acrylic paint and paintbrush (I will bring my own incase anyone needs some)
Red, brown and yellow ink pads (again I will bring my own incase anyone needs some)
Double sided tape
regular adhesive
Foam pads
Scissors
Pencil
Paper trimmer
paper scorer
Craft knife

The kits will contain
5 sheets Cosmo cricket 'Sunshine' range patterned papers
2 chipboard covers
Cosmo cricket chipboard alphabet
1 sheet white cardstock
Red lace
Brown ribbon
Teal ribbon

Loonnnnggg overdue post

Hey, well I have been up to some mischief with my mate Rhiannon (well lots of fun anyhows) She came to stay with us this weekend, which was fabarooney!!!!!
On friday night we decided to stay in and watch a film - a bbbbaaaaaaaad film called 'Black Sheep'. It was the worst but also the most entertaining the three of us had watched for a long time. - The plot basically about Killer mutant sheep in New Zealand!!!!!! It was a great film- so if you want a good laugh and I mean a real belly laugh watch this film!!!!!!

On sat we went to the modscraps crop on sat and Rhiannon made her first ever mini book!!! We had a laugh as usual with Jayne, Debbie and everyone.
We then went up to the park with my boys for a picnic tea and a bad game of tennis!! (I am not very good at the game!!) And felt sill as my 9 year old could beat me hands down!!! Oh well I never was one for sport. We had a yummy takeaway from the curry centre and watched Sweeny Todd ohhhhhh how I love this film the music the costumes and the actors!!! Oh sigh I love that film!!!!!!!

On sunday we ventured down to the arnolfini art gallery where they had paper fruit to make which could then be swapped for real fruit. So we split into teams of Team apple (myself and Evan) Team banana (Rhiannon and Aeron) and Team mango (James and Calann)

We then went upstairs where they had a table of broken crockery and glueguns to make things, it was fab!!! Here is my lil dancing crockery lady!!!!!!

Afterwards we went to asda and bought a dress each - naughty I know but it is asda!!!
Rhi decided that hers needed to be altered and got started straight away, which then prompted me to 'decorate' mine with buttons and lace!!!! I didnt finish til 11.15!!

And today well all the boys were at school and nursery so me and Rhi ventured down to the shops of bedminster and had a good rummage with little luck and then decided to go to the windmill (local pub with yummy food) for lunch which was very yummy!!!!!!
We came back to mine and wanting to show off our new dresses paraded around my garden like a fashion show (well not as co-ordinated or syncronised!!) and these were the photographic results!!!!!
Be warned Pure silliness!!!!

Anyhows I have had a fab weekend and am now exhausted!!!

For Nicola to see our bathroom!!!

I know its silly but I couldn't resist just to see the look on my family's faces. I took a very plain boring white bin, and dressed him up in a waistcoat with buttons, a bow tie and some eye buttons and this is the result!!! All I need to do now is find him a top hat !! He now resides next to my sink :) Calann rolled his eyes when he saw it!! Aeron and Evan laughed and James well James is used to me by now!!!

Myself and Evan went to the zoo today to meet up with an old friend of mine and his family. We had a lovely time except from the old silliness and running off from Evan!!! Terrible 2s - no terrifically terrible 3s more like!!! we got a few good snaps tho!!

Decorating

Yup Ive been decorating and not in the fun art kinda way but the boring (but much needed) bathroom kinda way!! I have hated my bathroom since the day we moved in. We had orange pine cladding from floor to celing on everywall - I mean even for the splash back on the bath- nice and rotten. The ceiling had been woodchipped and painted turquoise. and a turquoise mushroom covered carpet - mmmmmm yum!!!! believe me this combo did not work!! I cant believe that it ever did work but hey each to his own. The bathrrom was stripped bare and painted lilac and some simple lino to freshen it up- which was ok but I still hated it!! now 3 years down the line enough is enough, time to do the job properly. One thing that (luckily)was ok was the suite plain white ceramic, in reasonable nick. So sunday morning was spent sanding cleaning and de- jarvising the bathroom. I chose a colour called oxygen (very pale green blue) which is very fresh. We bough 8 boxes of plain white tiles and off we went trasforming our dark, dingy, small, (our bathroom is about the width and length of a bath - SMALL) smelly bathroom into a light and airy bathroom. Dont get me wrong its still small but the difference is huge. Keeping everything simple and light seems to do the trick. July kit will be available from the 14th of July this month, There will be no August kit as I dont think it will be fair on my children- we are going to be having fun this summer!!! with no arguements (well ok maybe just one or two!!)
A sneek peek of the July kit will be up sometime in the next week - so keep an eye out (not literally- that might hurt).

Here are a few pics of the class I taught on sat. It was a very simple folded mini book that is quick and easy. I used lots of text paper for this project and handed out lots in the class. Now what I didnt realise was the content of the book - lets just say it was a little rude , but gave us all a real giggle!!!

Last week was a little weird for me. My bessie mate Nicola told me she was moving to Nottingham on sat!!! so the week was spent helping her sort her flat out ready for her and her daughter to go. I miss her already and my boys seem very quiet without her here!!! (I never thought it was her making all the noise). Anyway I think they are now both settling in very well in their new home:) So I am just going to say good luck to all 3 of you in your new home together:) I really hope you will all be happy.

I have so many projects I am working on at the moment, but am doing them in order of when they need to be done. This sat I am going to be teaching a mini book class at modscraps.

I have the urge to go and take some photos but my hayfever is really playing up atm (as well as my 2 youngest boys!!) but nothing seems to work:( Oh well may just have to take sneezy photos (could create an interesting movement!!!)

I am stuck for a project for James gran (whose birthday is this week ) I have an idea I just havent got the photos for it:( hmmmmmmmmmmm will the boys pose??????? uuuummmmm NO!!! Hmmmm got some good ones of the little two, could put one of cal on the back ?????? hmmmm too many projects tooo little time:)

My poor lil boy Aeron had a terrible hayfever reaction yesterday, his eye swole up in school , had it been blue he would have looked like he had been punched. I took him straight to the docs (after giving him piriton) and of coursse the doc just looked at me like I was over reacting - well maybe I was , but he is only 6 - I want to make sure he was ok- which he is :) oh well I will just have to keep a bottle of piriton with me at all times.

Yummy Acrylic

I had a fab time yesterday teaching at PaperArts, I was very lucky that I got to teach such a fun bunch of ladies:) I had a really good time.

The layout was called 'Sunlight'. I used a 12x12 sheet of acrylic available here and gorgeous fancy pants papers and overlay. I think everyones arms were aching early on in this class as the cheeseholing the acrylic really does give a good workout!!! I have to say I really love acrylic 12x12 and think I will have to buy more!!!!

My other project was this acrylic album with yummy hambley overlays available here

Ok so min is a bit pink - ok VERY pink !! Everyone at the class was given a choice of papers and the colour of the overlay and you wouldnt believe the difference between them all- I t was amazing:)
I also had quite a few chats about my Puddys from fellow Puddy owners:)!!!! So many cute photos:)!!!!!!
And I have to tell you about the gorgeous yummyt cakes that Fiona made - OMG they were lush!!! - Spiced apple muffins (drooooooooooooooooolll) and victoria sponge cake- to die for!!!!And (I think she wants to make me fat) Ben and Jerrys cookie dough icecream!!! I can tell you it was lucky that I forgot my lunch otherwise I dont think I would have been able to try all the gorgous treats Fiona had for us!!! (I am feeling like a lil piggy today!!!!)

My kit is in the making and I am hoping you will all join me in getting a little (a lot messy) in my home decor mini book, which should hopefully go on sale on the 1st june- keep your eyes peeled for a sneek peek very soon:)!!!!!

Anyway James parents are down this weekend , but low and behold its raining, so they have taken my 2 younger boys swimming and then we will meet them at a pub for another high calorie , mouth watering dinner- hmmmmmm shall I have a roast????????

Calann is on camp with the cubs this weekend - I was a little concerned that just a few hours before he left the windows were shaking with the thunnder- I hope he is ok!!!- at home he is so grown up but at camp he seems so helpless and I cant help him- with anything!!

Right I need to go and sort myself out before we go to the pub- morning hair is never a good look !!!!

Next sat (24th may ) I am teaching a 12 hour workshop at Paperarts in Stroud. Fiona sent be a box of gorgeous goodies, so I have been busily working away on my 2 projects a layout and an acrylic album, I am not sure if I can give you a sneek peek of what I am working on , but if so I will:)

This week has been really busy!! On monday my mum came to visit us for the first time since we have lived in Bristol (8 years) It was really nice to see her and her boyfriend Jon, Evan really took to her which is great (except he kept calling her 'she' and 'whats her name'!! Buffy my kitten loved her also I have never seen her fuss anyone so much!!

Thursady was spent scrapbooking with Nicola- I think I have done it I think I have her hooked . I already have her obsessing over buttons- so watch this space (I may get her to come to a crop)
I t was also Cals birthday on Thursday- I can believe he is 9 already!!! He had his party yesterday which same me take 5 kids to see Nims Island at the cinema then to frankie and Bennys for tea:) Their bbq chicken pizza is LUSH!!!!

After I got the kiddie winks home from school yesterday I felt complelled to rip up the nearest newspaper and pva ity to some chipboard, how sad am I ? Nicola was sitting next to me so I asked her to rip out the text from the newspaper so i could paste it down- Its so theraputic:) Today will be the layers of paint- oh I love it:) Next monday Myself and nicola are going to have a mini crop child free at my house!!!!! yeeeaaaaaaaaaahh!!

Oh have you seen the new recipe box by Elsie I soooo have to get that!!! Mandy came over the other day and we had a lovely catch up:) and brought me some old magazines they are fab- I had never come accross 'Legacy' before OMG they are fab:)

My 'photoshoot' the other day went well Sarah is so photogenic- I took around 200 pics but these 2 we chose as our faves

I am laughing at noodles- he is sitting by the sink swiping at the drips from the tap- daft cat:D!! He has now started meow ing at me more like he is talking to me , Buffy has done this from the start, but I think she has taught him he has a voice. He is so sweet now - no ,ore biting or swiping at us!! I bought buffy the most girly collar the other day - its ssosooooooo cuts, I will try and get a pic of her with it on:)

I wanted to show you this layout that my best friend Nicola did. It is her FIRST EVER layout and I think it is fab!!!! (I have even got her hooked on buttons) She occassionally pinches a couple juat because she likes them (but I dont mind as I must now have around 10,000 buttons if not more (Alot of these are my stock!!!!!) I will do it everyone I will get her hooked on scrapbooking!!! She advises me on my layouts now!!! So nic week monday - a scrapbook day at my house???

Anyway my garden now has a very clean and clear deck , a lawn, another dect that needs sweeping , but I have a garden!!!!!!!!!!! We are going to have a BBQ tommorrow and I am so excited (for the kids and ok myself!!) My 76 year old grandfather was sweeping my deck for me (he insisted!!!) yesterday whilst myself and James cleared all the junk , He is such a sweetie, and my nan played games with the boys indoors- so thank you nanna and grampa you really helped us yesterday:)!!
Today my friend is coming over so I can do a photoshoot on her for her drama portfolio- now sarah are you sure you want me to do it???? Hhhhhmmmmmmmm I could have some fun here!!!

I still havent scrapped that gorgous pic of buffy yet but hey maybe I should set myself a challenge to do so over this weekend!!!:)

I have been busily trying to get my pics sorted for this weeks module for the PWL course I am doing. I have been really challenged by this module- A frame within a frame well I have tried very hard to get some half decent photos (despite lack of sleep due to children and kitten!!!)
So these are my final 3 for this week, but I also have to show you this one that I took of my gorgeous (but very squeeky, she purrs like a baby dinosaur from jurrassic park) baby girl Buffy:) She is ssssosososoososooooooo cute:) I cant wait to scrap this pic:) .

Oh my little baby girl kitten is here!!!! She is soooooo cut and I have regretably changed her name to 'BUFFY'!!! She is a fiesty little thing:) Her and Noodles havent hit it off shall we say (well they hiss growl and spit at eachother!!) She has been exploring everything and even managed to get outside , by climbing through a very small hole in the wall (for venting!!) I think Buffy will fit in well here!!

Here are a few pics of the lovely ball of fluff!!!!!!!!!! She has got the longest white whiskers and eyebrows I have ever seen on a kitten
Noodle and Buffy have been doing this all day a eachother, I have been trying to get some pics but they are just too quick:)

We have been doing the garden again:) We have half the earth level now so , still got plenty more to do before we can turf it, but I can wait!!!

Evan starts nursery tomorrow so I am going to have the day to myself- I am trying to promice myself it wont be spent doing the dreaded fairy chores!!!!!! but crafting all day:D!!!!! yeeeyyyyyaayyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!! Woo hooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Its cyber crop weekend next weekend and also the modscraps crop at which I am going to be teaching my class:) I really hope my cyber crop class goes down well- its one of my funny ones!!!!!

Well I have finished my layout I started it before I went away. I have been back to basics with this and started with a piece of 12x12 chipboard. I then pasted Newspaper strips with watered down pva (I havent done this for such a long time) then loads of layers of acrylic to build up texture. Then neat pva drizzled all over and then dry brushed this with acrylic. I love the texture
I had to work on this layout as It was about Nicola dressing up from a few weeks back. I used papers from the studio calico kit I had just recieved:) This was really fun to make but took a loooong time:)

This layout was started at the crop a few weeks back but is now finished too:)

Right I gotta go I have a ton of fairy chores to do and 5 kids to keep in check:)

Well I am back after a week in Cornwall, and I am knackered!!!!!!

We had a good time and the weather mainly stayed dry however it was BLOODY FREEZING during the nights (James keeps saying dont exagerate ) but it was!!!!!!!!

The first night we slept with a winter duvet over us, the second night we slept with the winter duvet and a summer duvet over us , the 3rd night we had a sleeping bag and the two duvets over us!!!!)

The boys had to wear jumpers , socks and extra t-shirts to go to bed as well as their sleeping bags and duvets. By the second day I had a cold!! GRRRRRRR!!! We thought we would go and warm up in the 'heated' pool for a swim surprise surprise the heaters werent working GRRRRRRRRRR!!!! And the showers were luke warm and a trickle GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! Can you tell I was a little peeed off????

Anyway apart from that we had a really good time, we went to the beach, a seal sanctuary, a couple of castles, a blue reef centre, a scrapbook shop (yes I found one and stocked up on magazines for the evenings ahead) The Eden project where I bumped in to an old friend (which was really cool) oh and Lands end where we went to the Dr Who museum:)

James had to take a pic of me with the statue:) and then you have to guess who is who in this one (James idea of a joke~!!!!!!!!!!)
Anyway enough of photos I have been working on a layout that seems to be taking me forever so I am off to have another bash at it:)

Charity shop

I went in my local charity shop yesterday (I love looking through nic nacs) and the woman behind the til said to me 'I was thinking about you yesterday' I looked at her worridly and said 'Why?' and she told me about a bag of necklaces and beads that were all tangled up, and she couldnt be bothered to sort them all out. So she thought I may like to buy them (I must be known for my crafting!!) So for £2 she handed over a bag of bits. I got them home and started sorting through them (there was a lot of tat) but some lovely bangles and broches were in there. So down comes Nicola and starts trying them on - we were like a couple of school girls giggling so heres a pic of what she looked like after she had dressed

She is going to kill me:P but hey she said I could do a layout with the pic (the ideas are there and ready to be layoutised!!!!
I had my hairsut this morning and it feels lovely - all soft and neat- well that should last until I pick Evan up (so 11.30)

Homework

I have so never been good with homework although I have done my self portrait It is silly I know but I had to have my name on it, and this was my fave of about 20 odd. I did manage to buy a tripod from argos, it was quite cheap and is perfect for what I want to do:) I am really looking forward to this course as I would love my photos to improve.
I am waiting on a rather large delivery of scrapping stock for my kits I hope it gets here soon, I cant wait to see it all in the flesh:)

James is away with work tonight, I have fed, bathed, sorted all the boys out (and I even put a weeks worth of washing away) and so I am trying to decide what to do- shall I scrap that photo I have been waiting to do, or shall I be good and do things that I should be doing like sorting through stuff?????? Hmmmmmm decisions, decisions:) and I bought a pack of rolos to keep me company:)

Anyway how is everyones easter going? our has been spent turning over our mud patch ready to lay grass and playing on the Wii we have the Raving rabbids game its sooooo funny. Its a very silly but funny game!!!!

Ever wanted to make a photo album for you wall??? Well I have! So aprils kit is going to be just that- a canvas kit with gorgeous dream street papers!!!! Full details coming soon!!!!!!!! This kit will be released in late march as I will be on holiday during the first week of April:) I have to wait in tomorrow to have our washing machine fixed!!! - I hate it when it breaks down its so hard with 3 boys!!!! Its a pain if you have to do the school run though!!!!!
We have booked a weeks holiday in Perranporth in cornwall which I am really looking forward to. It is a haven caravan park which should be fantasitc for the boys:)
Anyway I think I am going to have a nice cuppa now and wait for torchwood!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I love it!!!!)

Do you ever feel that if you rush around any faster your head will fly off???!! I have been rushing since I got up. I was woken at 6.30 yes 6.30 AM by a delivery man knocking at the door- I couldnt believe it!! I ran down stairs trying to grab my keys out of my jeans pocket and answered the door all bleary eyed in my pjs, and he says morning, sorry its so early but at least your in!! so I said dont worry Ive been up for hours!! he said really??? I said NO!!! Well at least I got my parcel!! I then closed the door and went back to bed, then the boys woke up so got no more sleep!!! The little girl who I look after in the mornings came at 8 as usual, I dressed the boys fed them all and tried to sort myself out (ie have breakfast)- Its hard work some mornings!! I took them all to school , and ran down the printers then decided I needed some bits in town so walked down with Evan. I then had to be back at the school for 11.30 to pick up a little boy from the nursery, walked them both home and they argued most of the afternoon- I tried all sort of activities - playdoh , making dens, playing trains, drawing (you can imagine the mess of my house by now) Nicola came over (thank god, and adult to talk to!!) And the day went like that really!!!! I have now sat down, but am cooking tea!!!!
Anyway.................... My parcel contained some fabb bits for my next kit:) Yummy dream street papers - birdie bits!!!- these are just soooo cute!! Aprils kit will be out a little earlier than usual as I will be going away at the beginning of April to a Haven in cornwall- the boys are so excited!!! I am also going to be teaching 2 classes at the may 24th 12 hour crop at paper arts!!!- I am looking forward to this:)

I woke twice in the night to the sound of the weather!! The wind was howling down the chimney, and the rain beating at the window!!! The weather amazes me sometimes! I love being indoors in a nice warm dry home whilst the rain is beating down around us!! Creature comforts eh??!!??
I have a fully working deck in my garden now- it looks fab I cant wait to use it , but first we need lo lay some grass on our mud patch so everyhing doesnt turn brown!!!( Imagine the mess of 3 boys playing in the mud!!!) I found such a cool ornament for the garden, Its like a giant Momji doll- I couldnt resist!!!:)

This layout 'Best pals' was made using smaller pieces of patterned paper, and embelishments which is a great way to use up all your scraps from you favourite papers.
My second project is a 'Technique File'. Its a perfect sized mini envelope book to keep small records of techniques you learn, and is great when you need a burst of inspiration. It could also be used for photos and journalling:) The kits costs just £8 and £2.50 p&p within the UK ( please ask if you need a price for ouside the uk)

Last nights class at Chepstow was fab. Kirsty Wiseman, Mandy Parr and myself sat together and had a great time. Mandy and I did get rather silly:) she said I have a hens laugh!!! So does anyone agree??? Have I got a bad laugh????????:( I just cant hold it in!!!:)

Tomorrow evening I am going to the chepstow crop to do a class by CD Muckosky, the class looks great and I couldn't resist!!! I just have to find the time to find the photos required for the class!!
I have to go I am childminding one of Evans friends later today, so need to prepare some fun activities, hmmmmm what about banana flapjack????? they love making that!! I love eating it toooo!!:D

I finished this layout!! yeah!! I have been having problems with it as I thought it was maybe a little 'girly' for a boy layout, but the photo works so well with the papers from the 'red velvet art kit'!! I really like how their kits are so co-ordinated and funky!! I love the book paper die cut that was in there too,I think that idea is really fun. But do you think thing like this are good to scrap with? I love the look of them and think about trying to find a battered old book that needs new life, but am not sure?? hmmmmmm??!!!

I am also working on a secret squirrell project but I can't say anything, all will be revealed in time:)

I have been really busy today with my new leather sofas (they look good) buying yummy turquoise cushions to decorate the new sofas then having a full on clean the house kind of day, but My house (well the down stairs) looks great!!!
We had a great day out yesterday at one of the castles from the national heritage (we are members!!) Unfortunately it started to pour down on us, so we tried to keep to the drier part of the castle, there were some gorgeous satined glass windows:) will post some pics when I get a longer moment.
I have many projects on the go atm, but they will be revealed shortly:)!!

I went to the modscraps crop today and I had a lovely surprise from Jayne who gave me a RAK offabby ribbons and lace from Lynne (Thank you:)!!!) and a bracelet she had made for me :) Oh my god I just love it Jayne:) It has charms that say love, inspire, trust, unite, laugh, believe and wish!! THANK YOU SO MUCH:)!!!!!!! She then went on to teach a fab class and I mean FAB!!! I will post the layout here asap:) Have a look in her blog here
I also nearly finished a rather girly layout of Aeron, and between Jayne and Debbie I think it has been masculinised!!!) again pic coming soon:)!!!

You have to go and read this artical its hilarious.
Stitches was great, there are some fab new things coming out. It was amazing how quickly the time went, we didnt have lunch til 3.30!! I bumped into a couple of people I know, and found some gorgeous stamps OMG they really are gorgous!!!! from Paper Artsy!! I am not the world biggest stamper but I want one of each of these!!!
Oh and then there were buttons!!!!!!! The button companys business card is a giant button - perfect for the button lady.

I am going to Stitches!!!

I am going to the Craft, hobby and stitch show tommorrow. I am looking forward to it. James has taken the day off work to look after the boys, which is nice and after today I need it. Evan is in full on tantrum mode and had several tantrums this morning just on the way to asda!! He has taken to wanting to wee by a tree near us, and as I am potty training him I try and let him go when he needs to, even if that is by a tree. But now everytime we go past this one he says, 'can't wee in my pram' so we have to stop and let him wee then get him to get back in the pram which is a nightmare!!! Then in asda I let them all choose a pack of sweets, so he chose his and we started waking to pay and he changed his mind, and had the most horrendous tantrum grabbing on to things and pulling his pram. I paid for my shopping and put the bag on the pram as usual and I turned to look away and he started emptying the contents of my shopping on the floor!!!!! I could have cried!! Oh the joys eh?? Thats school holidays for you though:)

I just fell in love with this layout!!!! Very 'UNDOMESTICATED' now what we really need is chocolate irons, so you dont even have the choice to Iron (unless you want Chocolate smeared clothes, which I suppose may catch on but probably not!!)

I had a fab night out last night with Nicola and her mum and sister and other members of her family later. Nicola got so drunk!! I dont think I have laughed so much in a while:D
